You spent how much?!?

My dear sweet friend Lisa just cracks me up sometimes. Don't get me wrong, I do like nice jewelry...but I can't imagine dropping $4,000 on a bracelet...on a whim. :S

Perhaps that's because I don't HAVE $4,000 to spend on non-essentials. But it is beautiful...and I did have it in my hands...long enough to fasten the clip and secure it on her wrist.

The pencil is, of course, to add perspective to the size of the diamonds. I'm so jealous...then again...she is nearly 10 years older than me and married to a very understanding and great guy...which undoubtedly adds to her ability to make such purchases. Oh well...if and when it's meant to be it will be. For the time being I'll just drool on hers...just a few key pieces...that's all I'd need...one bracelet, a few pair of nice yet simple earrings, maybe a necklace, and one ring...actually, I'd be happy with just the ring...a diamond solitaire...maybe set in platnium...1 - 2 carat...no other accesories...yeah, that's all.
