Where you gonna go when the volcano blows?

Nowhere! Why? Because it is incredibly awesome to stay home and take pictures silly. Mt. Etna blew on Saturday, July 15th. As usual, it was beautiful...and as a special bonus, this time it blew through an existing crater so there was virtually no ash. The flow seemed to come quite far down the side of the mountain, but as you can see it is still well above the nearest city lights. The eruption ended during the early evening hours on Sunday, July 23rd.

Where are the photos? I'm waiting with bated breath!
I wish I would have been there to see that. The pic is great though.
BTW, I am very hungry for real food.
